Trot for Trans Visibility

March 21, 8am-4pm CDT (Houston) - Family-friendly fun run, trot, walk, or sashay.

March 30, 7:30-9pm EDT (Online) - National panel discussion: explore how to practice accountable allyship and inclusive leadership that centers trans voices in movement spaces.

Reader, everyone needs support at one time or another, especially if you're parenting transgender kiddos. This weekend, I jumped on the "This is who" trend on social media. Businesses have been posting childhood photos of themselves and/or their team members, captioned with "This is who [does a specific job task]". The trend is supposed to humanize brands and create a personal connection with their audiences. A few weeks ago, I had surgery for a back issue, and the recovery has been a bit rougher than I anticipated. In addition to feeling significant soreness and fatigue, I was not allowed to raise my arms above my shoulders or bend, lift, or twist for 30 days.
