Timely resources from Trans Youth Emergency Project

Our friends at Campaign for Southern Equality have 2 timely resources for families of trans youth (no matter where you live):

As part of their Trans Youth Emergency Project (TYEP) ecosystem of care and resilience, they've been hosting professionally-facilitated monthly support groups for parents and caregivers of trans youth to find community and connection with one another. The next two support groups will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21st and Sunday, Oct. 5th (with more dates coming soon!).

RSVP below for the support group this coming Sunday, Sept. 21st from 6:30-8pm. All RSVPs will be vetted by a member of the TYEP team, and the Zoom details will be shared with approved signups a few hours before the event.

This summer, around 25 clinics across 15 states – most of which are access states – have announced that they are ceasing care or no longer accepting new patients. TYEP knows this is a confusing and stressful time for many families and caregivers across the country, so they're hosting a community Town Hall to break down what's happening, the legal landscape, and tangible resources to support families through this moment.

Click below to RSVP to their virtual Town Hall on recent clinic closures on Tuesday, Sept. 30th from 6-7:30pm. The Town Hall will take place on Zoom, and a summary of what was discussed will be sent to all RSVPs after the event.

It’s my growing edge, but I’m learning and working on it. And I hope you are too, however that looks for you. For me,...
