Support trans Girl Scouts🍪

For the past five years, journalist Erin Reed has maintained a list of transgender and nonbinary Girl Scouts selling cookies, encouraging her readers to buy from them!

If you're looking to fill your Girl Scout cookie fix, consider buying from one of the kiddos on Erin's list.

Buy from Girl Scouts who have not reached their goals, and choose the “ship the cookies” option and not the “deliver the cookies” option (so some poor Girl Scout won't have to deliver your cookies via little red wagon across several states).

Let's give these kiddos some support and joy!

My favorites are Caramel deLites; how about you?

Old and new friends showed up, and Reader, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! You know...

Support from parents and caregivers is crucial for the well-being of transgender and nonbinary youth, providing a solid foundation for their development and health (Trevor Project, 2024). Research by the Family Acceptance Project found that families who support their children's identities "help promote self-esteem, overall health, stronger relationships and help to protect against suicidal behavior, depression and substance abuse." I get lots of nasty comments on my social media content, but sometimes they honestly make me think. First of all - RUDE, Norma! Second, this comment actually has a couple of very interesting layers. At one time, I also used the word "weird" for something that I felt pushed the boundaries of what I thought was appropriate or the norm. And that was my judgement of other people and behaviors. But having trans children, learning more about the LGBTQ+ and transgender communities, and becoming...
