Author Nico Lang in in Houston this Thursday

Join Bering Church for an inspiring and heartwarming event as "American Teenager" author Nico Lang discusses the fight for trans equality with Molly Carnes, a local Houston mother whose daughter, Ruby, is featured in the book. In an hour-long conversation (followed by Q&A), the two will discuss resilience, courage, and the joy of trans youth navigating today’s challenging world.

📅 Date: Thursday, May 14th
🕠 Time: 6:30 PM
📍 Location: Bering Church, 1440 Harold St, Houston, TX 77006
🎟️ Free & open to the public — all are welcome! Book signing to follow the discussion.

I'm a big fan of Nico and their book. "American Teenager" spotlights a handful of real trans teens and is incredibly moving. Go if you can!

More Nico events in the area!

I'll be at the Angleton/Lake Jackson event with a Parents of Trans Youth info table ❤️
