Financial aid for access to gender affirming care and accessories


So many great organizations offer financial aid and direct support to trans folks in need of health and wellness care.

Several offer special grants and services for minors; check websites to determine eligibility.

Point of Pride - Free chest binders and femme shapewear for all ages; Electrolysis Support Fund; Trans Surgery Fund and HRT Access Fund for 18+

Note: Point of Pride's Thrive Fund covers stuff like: document fees, voice therapy, wigs, prosthetics, waxing, and reproductive health services for all ages. Application period is from August 1-30. Info session on July 29 at 3pm ET. Register here or watch a previously recorded session.

Campaign for Southern Equality, Trans Youth Emergency Project - Microgrants, patient navigation support, and accurate information to impacted families of trans kids.

The Queer Trans Project - Free gender affirming items for trans folks in US; flight support to reach gender-affirming care or relocate to safety.

North Texas TRANSportation Network - Provides grants to Texas families seeking out-of-state health care for trans and gender-expansive minors. Serving 113 counties in North, East, and West Texas.
